God, Warfare, and Fame (Joshua 6:27)

Joshua 6

King James Version (KJV)

27 So the Lord was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.

Comments:
This text is mentioned following Joshua's defeat of Jericho. Whether military men or otherwise, God makes men who they are. When He is with them, he may give them a great name.

Throughout history, God has made famous and successful many military leaders who have gone to war to protect the church and the defenseless, including Constantine, Alfred the Great, Jan Zizka, Gustavus Aldolphus, and Oliver Cromwell.
